Is anyone aware of the chemical compounds in things like I mentioned above, the proper diposal and recycling of these items. If not people should be concerned because with technology moving so fast and the introduction of HD tv there will be a lot of E waste

There are also things like arsnic and other toxic poisons in pc equipment. These are things that I did not know until I began running the e waste department of a recycling plant

Are you asking a question? Or just making a comment, perhaps?

As for the question part of your comment - yes I am concerned about it - however, judging by the typical components and materials used in computers etc it should be relatively easy and worthwhile to recycle old equipment, which can contain useful metals like copper, lead, steel (iron) and aluminium, and in some circumstances gold
