What do you want for your nearest and dearest when you go to the other world?

I would want the people I really love to miss me, but get on with living their own lives. I got very ill a few years ago and nearly died so I wrote a letter to my son and had it put with my will so that he can have it when I die. I just wanted him to know that I was always proud of him, and if I had neglected to tell him enough times, then I wished I had more time to tell him every day how much I love him. I have made it a point since then (i've been in remission for 6 years) to enjoy life as much as possible, and to tell everyone that I care about, how important and special they are. I have always believed that the worst regret is for something left undone, not for things that I have done and wished I hadn't so I try to make sure that if I were to die tomorrow, nobody would be in any doubt about how much I care for them.

I want everyone to get together and share their stories of me and the good times we had. The crazy things we did and know that I cherished each and everyone of them more than they could ever know, but I also know that I chose to stay away because I was not strong enough to deal with my own issues-that it was never anything to do with any of them.

Your question implies a belief in 'another world', something I do not believe in.

If I die before them, then I wish them good times while they are still on this earth.
Their is nothing more I can wish them, really.

I want them, especially my daughter, to be safe, comfortable, happy and content. I'd also want them to lead a full life and not live in the past and worry about me. I worry about this a lot actually, I want my daughter to far outlive me.
