I bought 4 big quite expensive bamboo plants last summer...from the start they were not looking that great but I thought they would shape up! Nothing I did made them look any better! Does anyone know what I can do to make them grow and look green!!! They have brown and yellow leaves all over...I try to remove them but it is an endless task...
I live in Switzerland and the summers are very warm and during winter time the temperature decreased to a maximum of minus 5. I have covered them for the winter as it is now...

I live in Boston area, US. I have few bamboos. They usually turn brown and leaves starts fall off during the fall, and it cames back green again in the spring. I guess depends on what kind of bamboo you have. Few years, few of them died, but new shoots always came out next year.
