No sir, no problems. Been using Hotmail Live for the last 4 months. With that said, as you can probably tell, the new beta version is much more graphic intensive. This means that the pages will take longer to load if you have a slower connection. In general, it will always be slower than the older version. I also know that when you sign it, it tries to adjust the view of the screen according to your resolution, so it does the whole thing where it says "loading" and the circle thingy goes around.
It's just the price for a better looking mail client. You can always switch back. Once you sign in, it's the option on the left hand side.

No problems at all when I connect via my DSL connection but any time i've tried to connect using dial-up it's been intolerably slow.

my hotmail has always been slow! idk y i cant ever email my contacts bc it types so slow....and if i exit it, it kicks me off of msn!
