it depends on which windows you are running on your computer. here's instructions how to start in safe mode on Windows 95/Windows 98 and Windows ME/

JUST PREES F8 AT STARTUP OF COMPUTER . AS THE COMPUTER BOOT , IT WILL SHOWS THE THE VERIOUS OPTION ----SELECT SAFE MODE... In safe mode widows required minimum drivers (which are required to run computer only. it will no use vga or sound drivers also.) as well as minimum process will lode in memory . So that it will quite faster in safe mode rather than normal startup......... some more qustion ?? just call on +919860700128

keep pressing F8 when your computer is booting.it wont be fast.only helpful under certain conditions eg.when you have bought a new monitor and want to set up it's resolution with a cpu you have been using on another monitor.

as the computer is loading up, hit F5. and it will not be any faster nor much slower in safe mode.
