you would probably like perhaps the undead and unwed chick lit style.other writers to look for include melanie jackson, catherine feehan,
jasut type paranormal romance in and you should get what you want,
although theres always thebvampire sextette, and anthology of erotici vampire fiction to whet your appetite. if you dont want to go all out on a new author without a small...bite

There is also a series by Brian Lumley - The Necroscope series followed by the Vampire World series. Anne Rice is good too. Then the Undead series by Maryjanice Davidson. Also the Darkyn series by Lynn Viehl. Oh and the L A Banks series, the Vampire Huntress Legend and the Tanya Huff Victora Nelson series.

If you want a great Vampire novel try the Secret Life of Laszlo Count Dracula by Roderick Anscombe. Or else The Vampyre by Tom Holland, neither of these are the typical Anne Rice book but in my opinion they are far better

One of the best authors I have read is someone named Nancy Collins. She writes the Sonja Blue collection. Also, try Poppy Z Brite. I think she is British. Mercedes Lackey also writes Vampire fiction. All three are FAR and away better than Anne Rice.

I'm guilty too... From the books I've read so far (which are quite a few), my all time favourite with vampires is Anne Rice's The Vampire Lestat. You just can't help falling in love for him! I highly recommend it!!!

Ok, if you want to try something a little different, you should check out Peeps by Scott Westerfeld. It's a different take on vampirism and is a fun read. It's in teen/young adult fiction. I enjoyed it quite a bit. There is a second one, but it's not witht eh same characters as the first.

Twilight by Stephenie Meyer (also New Moon the sequel)
Blue Bloods by Melissa De La Cruz
I also second the recommendation for Peeps by Scott Westerfeld.
