I saidd my math teacher must of not felt like teaching math cause all we are doing is either playing math games or doing homework...she got angry and was like 'do you see me grading papers?!!" I looked a her and shook my hear. "what are you talking about, mind your own buisness.' i didnt mean it to be a insult, i just meant she didnt want to teach the same thing and wanted us to have fun but also do math at the same time.
Was I wrong and what should I do if I was?

Well, I can certainly sympathize with you and your reaction to your teacher, but unfortunatly, she is is the teacher and you should always be respectful even when they don't deserve it. I have a 17 year old and he's been in your situation.
Sometimes, as students, you just have to suck it up and take what the teacher dishes out. It's hard and seems unfair, I know.
What you need to do at this point is before you go to that class again, you need to stop by and apologize. What you might say is something like, "I wanted to talk to you about yesterday. I know that I shouldn't have spoken to you like that I am sorry." The hard part is going to be leaving it at that. You're gonna want to explain that the reason you said what you said is becasue you didn't feel like she was doing her job, but if you do say that it's gonna make the situation worse for you.
You have to have this teacher for the rest of the year and you might have her again in the future so you want her to like you (for better or worse). School is hard enough without having a teacher who doesn't like you. She will respect you for coming to her and apologizing and in the end, things will be better for you as student and as a person. The math games are helpful believe it or not and you are lucky that she allows you time to do your homework in school instead of having to do math at home every night---think of those as positive things about her class.
Over the break, you might want to talk to your parents about what the teacher is doing in class and see if they any suggestions about how to approach the teacher and let her know that you guys actually WANT to learn. (Even if you don't want to learn, she needs to be doing her job and it sounds like she's a good example of everything that is wrong in our schools today.) Doesn't she get a 'free' period that she can use to grade papers?
Anyway--my advice is whether you were right or wrong, you have to be the bigger person here and go apologize. You'll feel so much better about yourself.

Telling her to mind her own business *is* talking back. You were talking about her, it is her business. And yes, your original comment was insulting. To say a teacher just "didn't feel like teaching" when they are working hard to do other things that teachers need to do is rude and wrong. I say apologize, and if she misunderstood you, explain what you really meant.

Leave it. But watch yourself in the future. If it relly bothers you by all means apologize. She does grade your papers. You're in no position to make bad friends with the teacher.

I think it was rude and you should apologize also you should worry more about English than Math right now and enjoy the fact that she isn't standing over you with lectures and books.

It's true that its the intentions that count, but you have to be careful how you put things or they will be misinterpreted. I would go up to your teacher alone and explain what you really meant and apologize that she was offended.

You can learn math by doing math games and math homework.I don't think you {or anyone else} should talk back to teachers or other authority figures.

You showed your teacher a lack of respect and no teacher tolerates that, yes I do think it was rude of you to say the comments.

Teachers are given paid prep time to grade papers.
While you were talking back, you are also right that you should be learning.

Offensive or not she is the one who gives you the grades in that class. I would apologize and just tell her you said it wrong or didn't mean it to sound that way.
