If you're refering to the series i'd have to go with Alien(s) rather than the first. And if you're refering to the alien in Alien as the baddest alien, i'd have to say yes, but the predator is a very close second.

I'd rather be the Borg, or the leader of the Borg.
You can do a LOT more with them then you can with the aliens from Alien.
My next fave would be the Shadows from Babylon 5, Species 8472 from Star Trek: Voyager, and the vampire-like creatures from the movie Lifeforce.

i think the director needs to improve on the graphic effect using CG animation. In my opinion Alien3 is the suckiest followed by Alien(1).
The others like Alien2 and Alien Resurrections is good coz it really shows the true herione of Ripley (like saying 'Lock and loaded, Baybeh')

I think that the predator could take could take alien. Alien is tough and strong, and the best defense is its blood, but predator is an evolved hunter, and the alien is just a survivalist.
