The scientists are absolutely positive that their maths is right, even though it is based on assumptions...they can not be positive but they sound it...just like the religious lot, science is as full of belief as scripture...

No, how could they possibly be sure they were right if they believe there are no absolutes. But then their answer should be maybe there are no absolutes and maybe they are right.
