My doctor says that the ITP is the cause but why? Does anyone know or at least have a site I can check that goes over pregnancy with ITP?

There is no medical evidence that ITP affects the chances of a miscarriage, so it is likely that the cause is not the disease itself, but rather the medications that you are taking to keep your ITP stable. You can go to http://www.itppeople.com/preg/FAQpreg.htm for more information. I would also recommend going in to your doctor to ask about it, as he/she is the only one who can truly explain their reasoning.

To the previous post: ITP stands for idiopathic thrombocytopenia purpura
