What are your pet peeves about the opposite sex?

my pet peeves about the opposite sex is that they can make you feel like your the most important person in the world to them one minute and in the next they can break your heart with one single word or action.

There are a few things I would change about women in general. It drives me nuts when they know we have to be somewhere, and they will NOT get out of the house, car, etc. Also, the quick change thing. One minute everything is cool, the next she is crying, yelling, throwing your tv off the roof...that volitility can be rough. Another issue: not everything I say and do is laden with symbolic meaning. Sometimes you really do just feel like being with the guys. Finally, please don't keep a diary of everything I have ever done to piss you off. I'm sorry your drunk friend tried to make out with me, but I didn't let her, and it was 10 years ago!!! When people accept apologies, that means leave it in the past.

The Neanderthal-like idea that women should stay home, be seen and not heard, and speak only when spoken too. Men, if you are in a position that you can shoulder the entire burden at home financially and your wife can stay home and take care of the house and family, then God bless you. But for those of us who aren't fortunate enough to be in that position, we deserve your respect for being able to support/help support our homes and family. Believe me, if I could I would, but I can't so stop telling me or acting as if I'm doing something wrong by working!

I'd make men more empathetic - able to see the world through other people's eyes. This wouldn't necessarily translate into more talking or listening, just an occasional remark or action that shows he was thinking about how someone else might see things.

I'm a woman and what i would change about men are their attitudes toward us cuz my thing is if you don't want to be with me then go got you someone else don't stay with me and expect more than what you need or want from me.
whats the reason for that?

if I could chang one thing about the man I'm with, it would be that he be more spontaneoulsy romantic. I just like to receive 'just because' gifts and phone calls. Sometimes when you plan things, they never come out the way you desire them to, and spur of the moment things makes me realize how much he means to me. I am very spontaneous, and think a lot of men aren't that way because they have to control every situation and have a fear of the unknown. If you are with me, trust me!

As a female: Guys can be such terrible listeners...and the thing is when they don't even try to hide the fact they aren't listening.

Also, for straight guys: that Macho thing...especially when they aren't. Like they won't do certain thing because it will make them look like a fruitcake.

i hate the way a guy can love you more than anything in the world, but is terrified of commitment and screws things up because of it. so what if theyre not going to get to sleep with anyone else again? with that attitude theyre lucky that any girl wants to sleep with them at all. they always realise their mistake but normally by then theyve hurt the person they love too much and its too late.

Men want us to be like their mothers but what they are forgetting is that most of their mothers didn't work and we do. If you want us to spend time with you then help cook, clean and take care of the kids.
