WOW-some answers....LOL...trust me, I am the last one getting my @ss beat. In a phrase: I don't play that. The thought just crossed my mind because I was watching Maury this morning with men that claim to control their women with various forms of physical punishment...I was just wondering how many more of them are out there? I guess they are the cowards we think they are because not one of them answered me...lol...

They are generally cowards who seek to control someone "weaker" than they are. I was hit once by someone who claimed to love me. While I got the worst of it, I did fight back and then I got the hell out of there. Anyone ever hits me, that's it. They are gone and there will NOT be any reconcilliation of any kind.
If you are in a situation like that, don't listen to the "I'm so sorry, it will never happen again" bull. It WILL happen again, it is NOT your fault and you need to leave or kick his sorry butt out. I don't care what someone does, the only reason I can see to strike someone is in true self-defense. Call a friend, family member or domestic abuse hot line. Do not be embarrassed, it happens to all types of people and is not limited to certain "types" of people like some idiotic people say. It can happen to anyone and it needs to stop.

I think that any man who hits a woman is a coward and a woos .
All of them should be locked up together to work through their anger issues .

Nothing a woman does should ever give a man the right to hit her. They are cowards... They should meet a woman like me, I would be in jail!!!

A man who hits a woman for any other reason:
They need stitched up in their sheets while they sleep, then beat to a bloody pulp with a cast iron skillet. (This happened to an abusive husband in my area. Kudos to his now ex-wife.)

i think that any man who hits a woman should be tied to a tree and that women be able to use a baseball bat to hit him until he falls unconscious and then left there for the buzzards to peck his eyes out!
