Call your local chapter of the Salvation Army. They really go all out to help people in your situation.

I'm thinking this question is probably a ploy, but because I am a decent human being, I'll respond in case there are any genuine cases like this.

The best place to go is Freecycle. It is a recycling organisation where people post items that they don't want or need and people can ask for them. The only stipulation is there is no charge for the item and that the person receiving the item go and collect it.

You can find information of freecyle intiatives in your area by searching on yahoo or google.

go to your local post office and find out how you can participate in the Secret Santa gift exchange. you'll probably need to have your children write a letter listing what they would like for xmas, and some do-gooder will hopefully retrieve the letter and purchase the gifts your kids included in the letter. you should also check local churches, often times they have toy drives for children who are needy and you may be eligible. do you have any family members that can help you? i hope you have a good xmas, celebrate your good health and being blessed with your children.

Contact you nearest Marine Corp Reserve detatchment,..tey have a program called "Toys for Tot's" that is outstanding. Your local United Way should provide some info as well.

Man,...I am so sorry. I wish I were a rich man,......even if I blew my entire fortune helping other folks out? I really dont think it would have been a wasted effort. I am my brother's keeper.

Best of luck to you

Call me paranoid, but you say you have no money for gifts, but you have an internet connection? No offense, but that's a little fishy to me.

There's the Salvation Army and you can check out Toys for Tots.

You should be asking yourself "Where can I get a job?" If you are so poor, don't spend so much time on the Internet and get your lazy *** up and look for a job!
