I think the money would be better invested in deveoping a computer game where you play the part of the killer. Actually, you could have a game within a game where you also get to play he part of the prostitutes trying to run away. I imagine it should have a 12+ rating and certainly a PG. I wouldn't want my children playing it mind! They're far better off shoplifting down the Galleria of an evening.

Not for a while. A film can't really be made until there's a conclusion anyway. Plus, it wouldn't be fair on the families for somebody to be making money out of their tragedy so quickly. Plus, it would be massaging the murderer's ego which is probably exactly what he wants.

I guess someone someday will do a movie about it - look at the movies coming out now about 911.
I bet once they catch the person who did this there will be a special on Crime Watch showing the details on how they tracked the killer down!

not yet i agree. but it is no doubt inevitable.
Alex: they are called that because that is what they were. its the same principle that's used when calling a carpenter a carpenter. its simple and you know straight away what is meant. would you prefer them to be called sales women in the field of sexual recreation? it is a tragedy what happened to them, don't get me wrong, but whats wrong with calling them by what they were? it was, after all, their profession. you may think it demeans them as a human, but that is because you see prostitution itself as demeaning.

No. for the same reason that we should not have made a film out of 9/11.
However, don't you find it interesting to note that the media and this questionner refer to them as prostitutes, as opposed to women or women who work as prostitutes.
I find the label somehow demeans them as human beings, as though it is their falt or as if it does not count as much because of their profession. (Sorry, just a ramble.)
