It is quite possible. It would be a crude yet effective maneuver, and I'm quite sure that there are a number of people who are smart enough to know that doing this would help to promote the ideals and views that they would find a little more difficult to promote and apply if the answerers in this site knew that they were of the opposite persuasion, b/c they would probably automatically think that it was just the bias of being the opposite party that made them say these things, and therefor they wouldn't be taken as seriously. The thought has crossed my mind on occasion, but to me that still indicates that they lack the intelligence to come up with a relevant political argument on their own merit, and so I still chastise them.

There's only one or two that pretend to be a different party then they are (several different IDs though), and we all know who that is.

Most of the people who ask stupid questions are just trying to inflame the other party. I really hope they don't believe the crap they spew.
