Perhaps you might consider this:

To fight terror, which is a many headed dragon, we engage the dragon on his own hot spot, to keep him from dragging the war to our territory, and destroy our own people.

To fight terror, which is a many headed dragon, we engage his assets, his money, his resource in a large expensive war to keep him from aggregating his resource and strike us with his entire
arsenal.

To fight terror, which is a many headed dragon, we recognize the need for oil in the economics of global supply and demand, and we do not stupidly accuse the President of only being concerned about oil, because we are too educated to make such a claim.

It's time to study and learn. Liberals point without seeing, rarely have the facts, think everything comes easily, and try to appease everyone with cheap answers that only create more problems.

Intellingent people see conservatism as constructive, are concerned about individuals, but see the larger picture of the common good and the need for order and discipline. They are looking for the Truth.

You could have seen this as a Boy Scout where you learn to be morally straight and to be prepared, finding your answers in practical ways and in traditionally taught moral guidance through the Bible and applying your education.

It's not too late to take up the call to Christ.

Look I will be the first to admit that if Iraq did not have oil that we would not be there, but these types of questions ignore certain basic realities. The most important is that our economy is driven by oil. This makes oil a vital national interest and keeping the sources of oil free and unrestricted is of the utmost importance. The idea that this war is only being fought for oil is ludicrous. The idea that Bush is only trying to line his pockets is just as ludicrous. There are legitimate reasons for what is happening in Iraq and while we might not be there if they didn't have oil, it still does not support the contention that we are only there because of the oil.

It is not bush that is oil hungry its Cheyney and bush is trying to salvage something positive to save face in the many mistakes he has made over this war and the terrorist are no longer over there in that hemisphere but now they are setting up base camps in Mexico. Bush is as lost as lost can be and he was a sincere uninformed patsy of business politicians who have many more years invested in washington and play hard without conciense. The Iraqi people are not important ,we are not important and global warming is not important The money they grab and power high they are on keeps the truth from their eyes. But some of us are awake now and I think the seventies days of protest and anti establishment boycotts and marches are due for a big come back!

It is much more than that and you know it.
were we in Iraq when the world trade center was Bombed in 93? were we in Iraq when the U.S.S. Cole was bombed? were we in Iraq when 9/11 was Bombed? NO.
Have we been attacked since 9/11? NO.

One of our problems is our dependency upon Oil this is because of the Auto makers, they have the technology that can enable a 454 engine to get 100 miles per gallon, but you wont see it until they are forced to.

Try living without it right now

How come people like you always make accusations like this without understand the full complexity of the oil market? Have you ever heard of China and India? Do you own a SUV or jet ski? Try using the brain God gave you instead of just jacking off to Michael Moore and spouting out junk.
