An unmodified PS2 bought in the UK will not play games made for the US. Games are encoded so that they only play on systems made for the same region to discourage importing. You can mod your system if you wish which can bypass the regional lockout; however, the US and UK do use different TV formats with different refresh rates and resolutions. Meaning that if you were to mod your PS2 and import games they'll probably have frame rates that appear sluggish and it may not show everything correctly. Of course if you were to get a TV from Japan or the US and have a voltage adaptor then everything should work well but that would be quite an investment!

A US PS2 will not play UK games. The are regioned like DVD's. I know this because my wife is American and I am British, when we moved back to the UK we bought our US PS2 here with us and it won't play UK games. You can have them 'chipped' though I think.
To order from Amazon.com, you have to have a US postal address I think. If you want US games, my suggestion would be to buy them from Ebay.

no it won't
europe and north america are in differnt regions, however check your disc. PS2 from America is configured to play region 1. I believe British games might be zone 2 (however i can be wrong on that). If your disc says region 1 then you will be able to play it.

in the experience that your pc isn't working new video games i could think of its by using fact your memory is sharing the pictures as properly as working equipment i could advise you get a minimum of a 256 pictures card in case you have the ideal suited form of mom board for it i've got been given one from dick smith electronics for $one hundred ten plenty extra low fee than a working laptop or pc or PS2 as properly in case you have that style of money wait for PS3.

no it will not work. this is because:
the games that are sold in the us are in NTSC format where as the ones sold in asia and europe are in PAL format. you will require a mod chip for it.
