i know there is something about the 12 days of chritmas but not sure what. hard to believe i'm a good irish catholic girl isn't it? type in irish christmas traditions. you'll have many sites to chose from.and for those who think we get drunk at christmas, your wrong, it's the funerals we get sh*t faced at. ho ho ho, merry christmas

Well, a regular tradition in our house was to invite visitors over, get everyone really drunk whilst waiting for the turkey to finally cook and then watch someone drunkenly make their way to the bathroom and end up knocking the Christmas tree over! Of course, let's not forget the annual "painting the front lawn" or as your Americans call it vomiting. Followed the next day with self-pity, fear and guilt (and apologies) Happy Christmas All!!

We used to drink ether! Wow, You should have seen Father Francis when he got high!!! Oh and the homemade alcohol too, we called it pachee, my good God what a tradition that was. Ah tis a fine ting my Dear, tanks for the memories!

the only one i know is to drink heavily,but that is not good family activity....neighbors are irish and they can really put it away during the holidays
