do your eyelashes grow back if you cut them at age thirteen, somewhere around there? my friends are trying it and i'm not sure they're gonna like the results...

Why are they doing this? It sounds pretty darn ridiculous to me.
All hair only grows for a specific time, depending on what part of the body we're talking about. Eyelashes last longer than leg hair (if left unshaved), but they DO eventually fall out and are replaced by a new one. It will take months for your friends to look "normal" again. Don't join them in their lunacy.

Yes, they will grow back. But they won't grow back any different than they were before. Cutting them won't make them thicker or longer.
But it's a bad idea to cut, or in any other way remove, eyelashes. They are essential to the health of your eyes. The hairs help keep dust, dirt, and other impurities out of your eye. If you take them away, then you are taking away your eye's protection. Eyelashes aren't just decoration!

Don't cut your eyelashes. It will not make them grow back longer. The only thing it will do is make you look silly waiting for them to grow back.

My grandfather hated the teasing he got for his long eyelashes as a kid. He repeatedly cut them of and supposedly they came back longer. In short, they will at least come back.
