I don't really understand the question, because the wording is a little unclear, but to try and answer your question.
Adults normally argue with each other as a result of stress. Modern society is stressfull and sometimes we vent at the people who we are closest to.
There is a line that some adults cross when arguing, when arguing becomes abusive. This signifies dysfunctional aspects of their personality.
Dysfunction is a result of being from a dysfunctional home. These behavior patterns are carried on to the next generation because parents are role models, and anything your parents do, you will think is normal, when it may not be.

You guys need to be nice! He may be very upset and you are going to sit there and make fun of him! That is one reason why many kids/teens do suicide!
My answer is to let God take care of it, you don't need to worry about it because it is not your place to take care of it! Just pray that everything will work out and be okay!
