I lay in a pond a few months ago. Not a good idea. When my chicks hatched they drowned...

I've never laid in a pond.
I'm glad you have a hobby that you enjoy so much, plus it is improving your posture!!!!! That's really something -- that laying in a pond is improving your posture!

Wouldn't it be safer lying in a large iron, four clawed footed, old fashioned deep bathtub.. full to the brim with warm water and just float..?

i havn't ever laid in a pond-- but i have jumped in quite a few freezing cold ones right as spring starts so they full of snow runoff. does that count?
