I love that show. But I would like to see everyones ideas on how it will turn out with house being in trouble with his vicatin addiction. My guess is this, and Im sure Im wrong, but... The cop who is pursuing to get him in jail, will again need medical attention, and house will save his life, and then he will let him off the hook. Whats your thoughts?

Nope. Tritter wouldn't bend for that. Even if he would, the case is too far along for a detective to say "let's not prosecute."

Even if House saved Tritter's life on the way to court, Tritter would say "thanks...see you in court."

Best House can hope for is judicial leniency or legal error.

That's a good theory. I know he says he's going to check himself into rehab, how long that will last and what they will do with the rest of the show and the cases I'm not sure. Maybe Tritter will realize what an *** he's being and how important House is to the hospital and let him off the hook? Or give him another deal that will allow him to be at the hospital. I know they can't keep him like this for the rest of the season, it's getting kind of annoying. I keep expecting Cameron or Cuddy to break and do something to help. Cuddy already offered to give him his Vicodin back but he was too high on Oxy to take it. We can only watch the show and see.

When Medicine is taking for a medical reason fine. Here House is a Doctor who has suffered from Pain only us can image. You grab at any thing when you are in that kind of pain.
About how this will let him off the hook, Maybe it shouldn't Does he need the medication or is he feeding a a habit.
I am glad it is fiction, but the sorry truth is there are people out there who are addicted. and need serious help. In stead of getting them help we toss them in jail instead of hospitals. or rehabs.

I just finished watching the last episode 5 mins ago and was wondering the same thing. It ended with Wilson going to the cop to snitch on House. How is he going to get out of this? I think your theory is a very very good one!

My husband said the exact same thing last night after watching it. I agree with you both. I love the show, too, and my husband, who had been against the show for a while, can't get enough of it now. I can't wait to see what happens.

Previews show house walking to the elevator and saying the line "I'm Checking myself in rehab."
I think that he is not going to rehab for himself but for a patient to figure out whats wrong with them. Just like when we first saw tritter in a preview mutter the line "you have the right to remain silent."
I automatically thought it was for that girl who had a crush on him! I was wrong. They are throwing us for a loop!

I think he is going to banned from working till he kicks his addiction, then there going to need him to save a life and he wont do it until he gets his vicatin.

This is the worst idea ever. Why cant Tritter go to other doctors if he is sick, House is not the only doctor in NJ. I think house will take the Rehab deal.

He will get some help at rehab. The rehab clinic will go fine and the detec. will get killed, transfer to another city, or he will find some dirt on him.
