Wham something hits you, doesn't break the skin, but busts the blood vessels. So they bleed out underneath your skin and that's the color of the bruise.

Broken capillaries under the skin. Taking a lot of asprin will cause easier bruising.

bruises are actually bleeding under the skin usually caused by some sort of trauma

bruising is damaged tiny blood vessels. You should try to eat more meat or get iron back into your body.

I usually get them at trainings,I practice wushu and sometimes I fall or I get hit by one of my colleagues.
