Well, actually China is taking a toll on the US economy. China is labor abundant, and is very good in the production sectors. Their labor force is cheap and skilled.

The US is capital abundant. The US should not focus too much on its production sector (doing so would be suicidal). The US should focus more on its service sector. Why do you think the US economy is 70% service oriented? Its because of skilled labor, and service is very different from goods.

I don't think the US has to worry about China, I think it can be on its own feet. Let China prosper, and I am sure the world can benefit somehow, including the US.

China cannot sustain it's current growth. Already inflation and personal debt is on the rise there. I personally think it's great China has entered the world market..... human rights always go up when a country steps onto the world stage.

No, we should be happy about about the economic improvement of our trade partner. Their gains are also our gains, as we will see an increase in both countries economic wealth.

And Nicolas T - are you an idiot? Not even 5% of our citizens are unemployed. And that 5% has very little to do with China.
