my bf and I have been together off and on for 41/2 years . This august we had a baby. And he was upset that I was prego cause he didnt want anymore kids. I told him that if he wants out of this relationship lets do it now. I dont want you to be in it because of the baby. Cause this is what he did with his ex wife of 13 years. I dont want to be like that. He had dated his ex wife for a couple of months then she got prego and they got married . He said he didnt want to but he thought thats what the best thing was to do. Which for some reason alot of people do that! He stayed with her for 13 years because of the kid . I dont want to do the same thing or for that matter him doing that . What do I do?
Its not fair to me or the child How can I tell?

You should tell him that having a child together doesn't mean that you two are meant to be together. It's not the right thing to stay w/ you just because your pregnant, but it is right for him to be in his child's life. And if he stays w/ you for the wrong reasons, you may be sacrificing your happiness. Ask him would he rather your child be in an environment w/ happy parents who are not together or miserable parents who are together.
Good Luck

You can't.

Probably why it wouldv've been a better idea to stay only friends with a guy who has that kind of history.

How fair is that to your baby?

Its very simple. Does he look at his new little one the same way he looks at you? If he does he is in love..... if not, not so much.
