how would i figure out the average if it is weighed in percentage values of the total score....

the weight...... and the percentage....

10%.......................50%
10%.......................92%
20%.......................88%
10%.......................50%
25%.......................75%
25%.......................0%

hahaha... yes, i am a college student and i can't remember how to do basic math! obviously my major does not require ANY math classes!

Weighted averages are calculated by multiplying the value by the "weighting" ... with the expectation that the "weighting" adds up to one hundred percent.

Therefore, your "average" would be:
(0.50*0.10)+(0.92*0.10)+(0.88*0.20)+(0.50*0.10)+(0.75*0.25)+(0.00*0.25)
= 0.5555 = 55.5 percent (so far) ... I expect you haven't written the last test yet.

Which means, by the way, that a perfect score on the last test would only give you an 80 percent for the semester ...
