I have my shotgun loaded, and I'm ready to go kill some cows!
"According to a new report published by the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization, the livestock sector generates more greenhouse gas emissions as measured in CO2 equivalent – 18 percent – than transport. It is also a major source of land and water degradation."

I have also heard that, if humans stopped burning fossil fuels ENTIRELY, and we got rid of ALL the cows, and pretty much every polluter on this Earth, it would not even slow down global warming. Scientists liken it to trying to "cool a stadium with a window unit".
However, when I mentioned the medieval warm period, and the idea that global warming might just be a phase, to the all-powerful Leo Dicaprio, I got a violation notice.
Isn't that odd.

I think this whole global warming thing is a bunch of crap. I've seen just as many global scientists state that the Earth is just approaching the end of the last ice age which was delayed when this comet hit the Gulf of Mexico and threw a cloud of debris into the atmosphere and cooled everything down for a long time. It killed the dinosaurs and wreaked havok on the envirionment. If it hadn't been for this comet strike, the Earth would have warmed considerably sooner.

So me, a liberal, I am ready. And apparently, Bush, a conservative, is ready too.
"President Bush signed legislation (H.R. 4520) extending a tax credit for electricity generated from renewable sources that now for the first time includes dairy livestock manure and certain other Ag waste. Dairies and farms with new methane digesters and electricity generators will now be eligible "Qualified Facilities.""
It has been recognized around the world and people are tackling the problem, even here in the US.

You are not going to figth global warming by killing cows. The true reason for global warming is over population of people and the industrial complex it takes to support it.If we could bring the population to a constant level, the global warming problem could be handled.

It took more than 50 years to create it.
Now we want to unwind it in 48 hours.
Do you think it can be done overnight?
What we need to do is to solve the misery of the little children today and they will heal the environment back for their own survival in planet of apes.
