Get over it! It's for the family to make and decision and not for us to judge. Diana wasn't exactly squeaky clean either and it would do you some good to remember that. Maybe if she hadn't been such an attention seeking person the paparazzi wouldn't have hounded her so much right up to the fatal car crash.
If they go it will be to support William and Harry and that is all any good parent would want to do.

I find your description of Camilla offensive. I agree, if Charles had acted appropriately, their lives would have been different, ie he should have married Camilla in the first place.
As far as I am concerned, she was no more than an attention seeking sly individual who brought the Royal family into disrepute. I did not agree with her going on TV spouting off how hard done to she was, that was in extreme bad taste and point scoring.
Hopefully Harry and William will have inherited more of their father's genes than hers.
Camilla has been around a lot longer than Diana was and the boys grew up knowing her and her children anyway, so why should she not go?
I also sincerely hope that Camilla is made Queen when Charles ascends to the throne.

lets look at the facts:
Charles and Di were divorced prior to her death
William and Harry are masterminding this event - what right have we the public to say Charles and his second wife (who appears to get on very well with his sons) should not attend this event.
We will never know the full facts behind Charles and Diana's
marriage - but I thinkWE all wanted the fairytale to never end but sadly they were no different to many modern families they divorced - its time the public let this go
Accept that William and Harry's Father looks happier than he has
done for most of his life - and as for the new Mrs Windsor -well lets say she looks the kind of woman who is down to earth - even being photographed by the worlds press in less than glamourous clothing with mud oin her hands after gardening or horse riding. Yes I know they conducted an affair over many years and yes im sure that both of their partners suffered BUT
Andrew Parker Bowles hs remarried and I feel sure that Diana
would have found happiness if not with the late Dodi Fayed but with someone . Let Charles and Diana's sons organise this event the way they want to - look how they have weathered the divorce, scandal and death of their mother with great dignity for ones so young. Looking at their interview given yesterday I was struck by their closeness as brothers and delighted in the fact that they still retain that 'spark' inherited from their much loved Mum whilst acknowledging their royal duties.

I agree, however it would place both Charles and Camellia to be seen as hypocritical of the way the Royal Household treated Princess Diana. It was Queen Elizabeth ll who stopped forced Charles to Marry someone for sake of safe guarding his right to throne and to bear a legitimate children. Charles affair was going on years prior to his marriage to Diane.
The Royal Family still inter feared with Princess Diane life continually through out her life. The constant bombardment of the Press (Pavarotti) equally lead to Dianes death, this included the drunken driver fault.
However I am totaly in agreance of the memorial for such a dear and wonderfull Princess.

Yes I totally agree with you. No matter what one thinks of Diana,it was Camilla's interference in their marriage that led to all sorts of problems in Diana's life. Charles slept with Camilla on his wedding day to Diana for goodness sake!!!The Royal household are extremely manipulative, and getting William and Harry to make the announcement that Camilla will be attending was a master stroke, look at the answers,it worked on most!!!! Camilla attending is an absolute insult to Diana and her memory. Just what the Royals want!!!!!

Well that would be great wouldn't it.
The two lads have lost their mother, why not make life so damn awkward for Charles that they lose their Dad as well. What thoughtful people we all are.
Surely the primary reason is that her driver was drunk, or I guess it could be the post they hit.
I think people forget what a little madam she was throughout her life. Charles certaily didn't pick the easiest of brides.

So if one of your ex-boyfriends (or husband) dies of a car crash whilest he's travelling in a high speed car with his new girlfriend, are you to blame for his untimely death? I really don't think so.
Camilla is not a Rotweiller, if the two young princes can accept her then why do you have a problem?

This is the boy's celebration and they should have the last say. Speaking of not attending, how about the Queen who treated Diana as trash under her feet.

I think Charles should attend with his boys but Camilia should have the grace to be "indisposed" that day and stay home.
What would Diana want?

Actually, it was her being in Paris, in a car driven by a drunken driver, that was the primary cause. The PoW isn't remotely to blame for that. I think it would be entirely appropriate for the PoW and DoC to attend.
