i am planning to go to a place near me called exmouth 4 new yrs eve+its got a tradition that people go there in fancy dress!!thing is i don`t have a clue what to go as!!any ideas??

exmouth is the best place in the country to go out new years eve
ive been going for years
for some ideas go to ebay, type in fancy dress,thousands of costumes,you might get some insparation or even be able to buy an outfit.

I went to a fancy dress do dressed in an outfit which was alternately black and white stating at the top. I went as a BAR CODE. I won a big cash prize for it. The beauty of it was that I did not need to buy anything to do it I just used my normal clothes.

get an old sheet and fold it in half so you have an equal length at the front and the back - now cut a hole in the middle to get your head through. leave enough space to get your arms in and then sew up the sides about 9 - 12 inches will do.
Now you have a canvas on the front and back to do things
1. draw an ipod - have a selection of songs as titles - ones that you know if you are asked to sing
2. draw a mobile phone - have a new year message written in text on it
3. draw a computer - as in "computer says No" or "This computer might not say No"
If you want to stop wearing it you can take it off and have your party stiuff underneath - best of both worlds - so girl the world is your oyster - so enjoy

have you thought about going as a knight in armour or the tin man? ive heard alot about exmouth on new years eve (im origionally from exeter) and you will probably need the armour plating.

Well I usually got to these things as a waitress or victorian maid but then I do have about 20 such uniforms to choose from and I am a male

Yes you can just go there in a fancy dress, nice glass slippers, and have your makeup on point looking real good and i promise you will surprise in how many people will give you good complements.

You are always safe with the "little black dress". You can dress it up with a belt, or jewlery, or if you are not into wearing dresses, a nice pair of black dress pants and a nice dressy top would be fine as well. Can you tell I love black?

take a jug of custard with you...when people ask what you ahve come as, take a gulp, and then squeeze it out your mouth, using your hands either side of your mouth...then say I have come as a spot! LOL
