The food will absolutely be okay. I travel for two months at a time every year and rely on my frozen food when I get back just to tide me over until I have time to grocery shop.

as long as you leave the freezer switched on it will be ok. But if you have a fridge/freezer if you turn the fridge off, the freezer will be turned off as well. Food will only remain frozen if there is no power, for approx 24 hours if you don't open the door.
Leave the power switched on and all will be well.

Should be fine - if its a fridge/freezer remember to CLOSE the fridge door or the fridge/freezer compressor will continue to operate for the whole time you are away . You will come back to either a burnt out compressor or a freezer that is full of pack ice.

Actually the food will stay fresher in the freezer. Opening and closing the door increases the temperature and the freezer has to compensate for that.
There is no reason for you to be concerned.
Take care and have great trip,
Troy

Quite enjoyed the Al Inshearah one.
But in all honesty most frozen goods have a freezer guide on them indicating to you how long they will last in the freezer.
Just one of those things we all tend to overlook.
In my own experience though you will find most goods will last ok for months on end in the freezer.

Food will be fine...you may wish to leave a clock plugged in nearby and if the clock shows that there was a break in power (flashing wrong time) then you can investigate further and decide what is the safest course of action.
If you see that power was off--ask your neighbors what the duration was.
Have a great trip.

Yup. It'll be fine. In fact, better to not open the freezer than to keep on opening it.
