I agree with you. Even adults are forgetting the true meaning of Christmas and not teaching anything to their children.

To be fair Christmas was created by a Roman Emperor to solidify the Christian religion. If you look at the Bible Jesus was probably born in the spring or summer. Santa became a Christmas tradition as the spirit of giving. Everyday should be on to celebrate Jesus and not just once a year. Those who want or need to celebrate Jesus' birth at Christmas let them, but let all enjoy the the fun of Christmas. We take things too seriously now a days and don't really let go anymore.

I mean Jesus was a gift from God. An St. Nicholas brings the gift, and spirt of joy, and hope during Christmas time. So isn't that what Jesus is about. So sort of Santa relives what Christmas is about. But you should know the true meaning of Christmas to. Not that you have to. Just a nice story.

they are both imaginary good people ,
but Santa gives presents,and does not bug people too much on how they behave ,he Himself came from a Laplander hallucinogenic mush room cult,and seems to be permanently drunk.
so people feel more relaxed with him and can have more fun
So Santa all the way,besides the imaginary Jesus(whose story was based on the story of Horus and Osiris 6000 years before,which was a humanized story on the life cycle of the Sun)was not even born on Christmas

I think that it has turned in to a selfish and greedy holiday it is not like it used to be know people expect something as a gift not to just be with family and to enjoy one another company and celebrate life I think the true meaning of Christmas is gone we do not celebrate Christ but use this day for our own greed but that is just my opinion

Because to many people, xmas is a secular holiday and more about having fun with family and friends, jingle bells and pretty lights. It's a tradition. What would the holiday season be without santa, decorations, fun songs and parties?

Because its easier to think and praise a mystical being then it is to get your life in order and live right as well as do right. Most people don't praise him on Christmas or any other day unless somethings wrong in there life or someone dies.When things are bad then they're calling on him but when they wake up they can't say Thank-You Jesus.
