I DO walk under ladders but I always feel a bit uneasy.

I never put shoes on a table, or a hat on a bed.

Oh lord, I have a mile long list! I hate the number 13 with a passion, I won't even leave the house on Friday the 13th ever lol. Also, always salute magpies, never put shoes on tables, carry a rabbits foot, won't look at full moons, won't have lillies in the house, will never walk under a ladder and I own a black cat but it's ok as she never walks backwards! Also have ones I've gathered for myself such as doing things in 3s and crossing fingers when I see post vans (don't ask lol).

I always walk around ladders now. (Last year a wood-working chisel fell three floors and embedded itself into the pavement underneath the ladder I was walking around...) premonition?

And when i smoked, I still wouldn't take the third light from a match ( even though German snipers are quite rare in rural England these days....)

But I do like to see a black cat crossing my path..... unless it trips me up....

Also, i get an irresistable urge to link my little finger with anyone who says something identical at the same time as I say it, even if I don't know them, and I then order them to close their eyes and make a wish..... ( I do worry about that one...)

but hey, we need all the good luck we can get.... ;~)

Apart from the shoes thing I don't bother with superstitions any more. I used to follow most of them magpies, ladders, black cats, but I give up on them cus no matter how much I'd try and "protect" myself I'd still be unlucky. I think the only reason I do the shoe thing is cus its gross putting dirty shoes where foods gonna be!

I'm not superstitious. Well, I'm more "anti-superstitious". I think being crossed by black cats is good luck and 13 is the number that always gives me the best luck.
Although I used to always hold my breath next to cemetaries because someone told be that if I didn't, the ghosts there would haunt me... haha.

I don't walk under ladders or shoes on table/bed either.

Just the common sense ones really.

Black cats are good luck people! Seriously! Once i was certain i was going to be late for my class, then a black cat crossed my path and I thought "oh this is just @#$$%# great!!!" When I arrived to class huffing and panting, i saw that the teacher had not even arrived yet!! He was late too....

im not superstitious at all, bad luck doesnt have a mind of its own, and them come after you when you break a mirror, see a black cat or walk under a ladder.
