All i asked for is a gift for a friend in need for about 100 -30 and all u can say is SHOES.

Buy her some nice jewellry, or something linked to her fave movie/song/band/place, something that means something to her.

Firstly, no gift is going to make her feel better about someones cancer coming back and secondly, if she were that good a friend, you would know what to get her. Don't post numerous questions on this site, all asking the same thing and then insult the people that are kind enough to answer. Most of the answers were perfectly good ideas for a female, including shoes. You're the one that got yourself into this mess, by saying that you had her present and now maybe everyone should stop trying to help you and let you get yourself out of it!!!!

I agree shoes would not be good. How about some perfume. Everytime she would wear it she could think of you. Or a gift card from her favorite store that way she can get what she really wants or needs? Hope I helped just a little.

You do not have to spend a lot of money to let someone know you care, a friendship card or small plaque to let them know that you are there for them.
The problem these days is that some people see degree of friendship is equal to the amount of money spent.
A good and loyal friend is worth more than any present you could buy.

Dude you don't realize the romantic significance that a pair of beautiful Italian hand crafted heels, chosen and given by a man......is to a woman.
It is an overwhelming task to undertake and if you choose rightly she will be yours forever.
Truly ask some other woman how they would swoon if there man or lover brought them a gorgeous pair of high heels......she'll walk around naked in em for days!

Many gifts are possible...I wouldn't even consider shoes. I'd hate for someone to give them to me...I'd rather pick my own..If your friend is in need, decide what is needed most and go for that. For instance do they need a food basket for a holiday dinner?
