McDonald's apple pies are baked in the US and fried in Japan. The fried ones are better.

I work at Mcdonalds and we bake our apple pies.We put them on a baking sheet and in the oven for 12 min.

90% in USA are baked. 10% of McDonald's serve fried, mainly the smaller facilities that don't have space for the bake ovens.

My vote is for the fried. I mean, come on, it's junk food anyway! It may as well be tasty and crunchy.

THEY ARE BAKED!!!! I used to work when I was like 16 years old, and I remember taking frozen pies out of the freezer and placing them in the special oven that they had. So they are difinately baked!!

deep fried!!! like everything at Mc D!!! Did you know that on the Mc D menu the dish with the most calories is he pancakes and maple syrup! Stay away from there and bake your own apple pay!! That's oven baked!!!
