McDonald's apple pies are baked in the US and fried in Japan. The fried ones are better.

90% in USA are baked. 10% of McDonald's serve fried, mainly the smaller facilities that don't have space for the bake ovens.
My vote is for the fried. I mean, come on, it's junk food anyway! It may as well be tasty and crunchy.

THEY ARE BAKED!!!! I used to work when I was like 16 years old, and I remember taking frozen pies out of the freezer and placing them in the special oven that they had. So they are difinately baked!!
