prolink memory card reader not equals to kingston mini sd.?

i have a prolink memory card reader P140CR. it has been serving me well for 2yrs plus. but somehow it just cant seem to read kingston memory cards. it happened with 2 different cards! but when i use other brands it works fine. kingston is a reputable brand but somehow im vary of it now..

Have you updated the drivers lately?

See if it helps, there was an updated driver in November.
