Peace is relative we are closer now to world peace than anytime in human history. There are only a few countries left that is willing to start trouble like North Korea, Iran. Some people might disagree and say that the world is in more turmoil now but they would be wrong, in the past there were always dozens of conflicts going on at the same time, but because we did not have instant communications then most people would not even realize anything was happening. Before TV, satellite or radio how would you have known what was happening in Sudan or Rwanda.
