yeah, big question.
1. available just about everywhere.
2. it works by radio frequency-simply put-it allows different pieces of equipment to communicate without the aid of wires or cables
3. cost-no way to tell-it depends on what equipment you're talking about-this goes all the way from printers,keyboards,mice,monitors to you name it. PROBLEM all equipment must be wifi ready/compatible and your computer must also be wifi ready. then you need a wifi router. it can go from fairly cheap to pretty expensive. most newer laptops are wifi ready, most older desktops are not.
