Check if you have progams (dvix, real player, windows media player) that can play videos, update codecs. Videos on my space and youtube need updates, simple go on youtube.com try playing a video, when it comes download program to watch this video, simply downlload it, will take about 2 minutes. Also try dowload.com for software.
Otherwise check with IT specialist about the problem in you computer.

If your playing a dvd you must have a dvd player installed on your computer.
If your playing video files like .wmv,.mpg,.avi,etc you can use windows media player to open the files.
Or maybe your media player is not working you can download other players on the internet.

check the drives and see if there is anything in them and make it so the game is the only disc in ANY of the drives. then if that doesn't work try updateing the cpu and if its a old computer then i i think ur screwed.

Your player might be old? If you hav not tried winamp try it. It is free and a very good media player. http://www.winamp.com/
Also, always keep your codecs updated. http://www.free-codecs.com/ Look at the codecs on the left side of the page.
