It all depends on what your looking for. As far as outsourcing work from the US, India is the way to go. They are not only extremly skilled and well trained in IT, but most speak english. As far as parts for a PC or something of that nature, China has always produced cheaper goods. But remember, you get what you pay for!

To be very honest it depends on the location.

For USA it is china, for Europe it is Ukraine.

However the quality that you will get back will be very pathetic.

If you are talking about value for money then it is India

If the question is related to people resources than it is china.But if it pertains to knowledge than it is India.Because people can speak in india can speak much better english than china..so in that way India is cheaper in IT production.

China aims at making its profits with volume. They are cheap but not long lasting. India aims at quality. Indian IT stuff is comparatively highly priced but it is durable

have you considered pay overseas wages to US workers? the IT workers are having a hard time finding jobs so many of them will be willing to work for overseas wages and you get better trained workers.
