If you are height and weight proportionate, meaning a petite size 8 and not an 8 where the arms are cut off a tall woman's jacket or the length is taken up in a pair of trousers. If you are indeed, proportional, then you may want to look into petite modelling. It would be mainly catalogue modelling but it's real modelling as opposed to getting your top off for dodgy tabloid "newspapers".
Good luck.

Approach some smaller modelling agencies. I wouldn't bother with the big ones like Storm etc as they won't look at anyone shorter than 5.7 However, they may be able to give you guidance on where to go. Don't pay for a portfolio yourself - if you are good, an agency will pay for that.

I do lots of modelling so I can help. Ok, you don't have to do naked modelling coz the glue from the kits gets everywhere.
The easiest way to get into this is by starting with making a model car and progressing to something more complex like a battlship perhaps.
You can take the models with you to show your friends if you don't make a living from it. They also make good gifts for relatives you love.

if you are good looking and model material, then you wont need to pay for a portfolio. dont get ripped off by people who say you need a portfolio, and then ask for hundreds of pounds for crappy photos.

why are you asking here? You need to go out get a portfolio done of yourself and get into a modelling agency

You're too short and too old really.
Unless you want to get your top off, then you might have a chance.
