Adobe System, Inc. had sucessfully acquired Macromedia, Inc. by December 3, 2005. And according to Adobe, to provide the most consistency and clarity in Adobe communication with customers, the Macromedia corporate brand will immediately be retired, and Macromedia's product and technologies will fully align behind the Adobe corporate brand.
