I right clicked on the printer icon and cancelled all documents but there is one that seems to be hung up and won't cancel. It just sits there saying "Deleting" but won't go away.

I ran into this problem with one of the inexpensive HP printers. Happened frequently until I demanded HP replace it.

Try this.

Open your services menu by:

Click Start/Settings/Controle Panel/Administrative tools/services
Select Print Spooler
Click on the "Stop" button, then restart the spooler again.

Close the windows. If ;you check now, the files should be deleted.

Hi,

Go to the printing que and cancel your print job after that to clear the printer memory you need to restart your printing device using the on and off button

just switch off u r printer for few seconds and restart it. If u still not able to stop printing repeat the operation.

Double click on printers and faxes in control pannel and remove the file from there.

open printer task window from system tray and select printing job from list and press delete button

Remove your USB cable from your computer if it is still showing "deleting". And if you wan to print again, plug it into another USB slots. That's how i solve my printing problem. Hope it can help you.
