Seems those shows are addictive and good for nothing but day dreaming and to amuse the old or sick, but a young healthy person shouldn't be watching them they make your mind mush! do you agree?

Of course they have a life. Watching a soap isn't going to turn your mind to mush. A soap can be addictive in that you get caught upon the storyline and need to watch what happens, meanwhile something else happens and you're caught. It's simply an escape from reality. Nothing harmful.
I am not old, and fortunately not sick and I've enjoyed soaps for years. Some even make me laugh out loud. You should try it. What turns someones mind to mush is too much crap/games on the computers.
P.S. I'm a med-student with all A's.

I disagree with you. I would rather see young people watching soaps then the nasty sex or violence movies they have out there. Besides when you think about aren't most show like soaps. Sitcoms they focus on one family instead of a whole town.
We are each our own so we all have the right to watch what we want. If we all felt the same way we would have such a boring world.

er no i dont agree. I dont watch t.v much as i dont really enjoy it but each to their own! Just coz someone watches soapopera's doesn't make you more intelligant they they are.
