I don't think "Ho - Ho - Ho!" is meant to be taken literally as 'what Santa says.' I believe it is meant to relate the sound of his laugh. I mean cows don't actually say, "Moo", and dogs don't really say "Woof"; but these words are the closest representation of the sounds they wake that we can come up with. I'm sure no one sits at their computer and actaully says, "LOL!" when they laugh, do you?

well actually santa wants to laugh and smile , what he does is ha ha ha , but but but because of the beard that he has , it eventually sounds as if he is saying ho ho ho. sorry santa , its december.

He's not really saying "Ho Ho Ho," he's laughing. It's like "Ha Ha Ha," but from a jolly fat man.

ya it shows the closeness and loyalty. the way he does it make sense of happy and kinda funny. it brings smile to every kid and also long faces!
