Depends if you have a garden or not. If you have a garden then I'd say roughly about £100 a year (counting bulbs, annuals, seeds and re-planting borders plus some new patio plants). That doesn't include stuff like weedkiller, grass seed, plant food etc. If you live in a flat or don't have a garden I would reckon that they would spend about £10 on pot plants (unless you count buying cut flowers for display which are very expensive).

I only ever spent £2.55 on a plant in my entire life... That was a few weeks ago, when I decided that I needed a bit more responsibility in my life.
I am pleased to say that the plant is still alive and well :-)

Can't speak for anyone else but i'm a sucker for plants, I don't really buy flowers but must spend about £100.00 at least a year on pot plants.

plants ( as in a nursery ) - about £100
