Yes It Will Do
The European Wii is PAL Format just like the UK Wii's, so will function correctly as long as the plug is changed so that its compatable with our plug sockets
you will also have no problem playing games you bought in the uk on the machine too,

I guesse so. But I don't think you have to change the plug.
