How dare you compare the two?mrs thatcher, the leader who dragged britain to its feet ,starred on the world stage and was instrumental in the collapse of the soviet union.

The on the other hand blair, used the economic template of the thatcher govt as his own,yet still managed ,with reckless vote buying spending to give us a £30 billion deficit..So what did he bring to the table ....panderring to focus groups, passports to muslims for votes, giving our country to the unelected EU.
Surrendering to the IRA,surrendering the french on the EU rebate negotiated by mrs thatcher.
Ripping off motorists.Stealth taxes.Eroding our rights.Forcing our banks, solicitors and accountants to spy on us.

Guess who gets my vote.....

Blair is a pirate.. He wants to copy Thatcher, only thing is Thatcher was fortunate to have Reagan who she could handbag into doing what she wanted. Blair, history will show has been nothing more than a poodle to Bush and has diminished his position in history by cow-towing to a thick texan and his cronies. Had he stuck to the European position, his Premiership would not now be the embarrassment it is.

Margaret Thatcher had the right idea to propel this country forward - Blair isn't intellectually impressive unless you like sophistry and vacuous platitudes.

In other words Mrs Thatcher - no contest.

Both as guilty in the destruction of Britain. THatcher started the decline in her attack on the family. Tony Thatcher pushed her obscene policies to the extreme, but also brought in the worst that New Labour could offer - the insidious PC brigade.

We are still paying the price in terms of social problems for the massive unemployment caused by Thatcher.

Blair had the opportunity to go down in history as a leader who made real change but he has failed to deliver.

Neither have been good for this country and both have destoyed democracy in their own parties.

A supporter of neither, but Thatcher all day long, Blair has no balls, too busy smiling rather than getting the job done.

Thatcher was vile and incompetent, but Blair is vicious and incompetent. So I would reluctantly pick Thatcher. Yuck!!
