to find the percentage difference you need to let me know which of the two numbers (1097 or 1050) you want the percentage to be of?
for 1097 the answer is 47 divided by 1097 times 100 = 4.28%
for 1050 the answer is 47 divided by 1050 times 100 = 4.48%
