Neither...but if I had to choose one, it'd be the atheist because not believing in anything at all is better than believing in something like the devil!

You are rotten to the core with this question.
What has religion do do with politics.
As the man said above ;
President Jefferson was an Atheist.
Yet he never deprived any American of their rights,
in fact: he made sure we had more.
Never bullied any American in believing his policies,
and if he got a bj nobody gave a damn.
In those days Americans; had the balls to even hang a man for betraying them, but not ; for bj's or illegitimate children
He was as BEST as they could ever be.
He was an American.
More then I could say for us woossies today, arguing over which politician we like most, based on their color,statehood,or creed, or if they tell less lies then the other.
President Jefferson,
Not bad for an Atheist ;

Edit:

"Pauli"
whomever you are, you are "cool" in by book

What difference would it make? Both would be Godless Presidents.

Again what difference would there be; it is the same American policy they would pursue i.e. invasion and mass murder.
