For instance even something as ordinary as chocolate biscuits are sold using naked women. And there is more and more pressure to "experiment" with your sexuality. Do u think sex has become too public when it should be something very personal and private?

Yes. It certainly has. You're right-- these days we are pretty well saturated with sexual imagery and suggestion from ads to movies to supermarket checkouts. And we wonder why venereal disease, abortion, AIDS, impotence, etc. are so rampant.

Yes and no. Sometimes I think its ok but sometimes sex is used to sell the most non-related items like (well biscuits as one thing). I even saw sexual innuendo used to advertise a restaurant selling fried fish! That was just stupid. But I don't think it should be made completely personal and private. If that happens then all sex is seen as more taboo even if it wasn't the intention.

I think the way to go is to use sex to advertise certain things that would appeal to those who still see sex as THE thing in life (18-25) but not for fried fish! I also think sex should be not so promoted as a great thing and more as a normal activity and nothing to get all nervous or upset and sensitive about.

YES! I can not for the life of me understand why a "loving intelligent mother" would buy her "tiny tot": a padded bra!!!! That really has taken things to the far extreme. I don't object the "love making" sceens in films if it is taste full and I am known for telling jokes that can be taken two ways. I also believe we are ALL responsible for our own actions (men who blame the way a woman was dressed for them being raped) but come on...... padded bras for small children!!! I think everyone out there in cyberspace should complain to any local store stocking them and organise a boycott, That is what I call over sexualising children and we should ALL try to get it stopped

No, I don't think so. But I must admit that commercials which use naked people (man or women) are without any imagination. Sex sells, so it is a easiest way to make a commercial. But it is not innovative or something you could really stop and WATCH a commercial.

YES. Sex is being promoted every where; TV shows, commercials, NFL cheerleaders, reality shows, Letterman show, schools, cleavage...just to name a few.
